So, now that Delaney is almost 8 months old, I guess it is about time I finish my blog from Florida which included her 7 month pictures with her lamb, huh?

We had such a good time in Florida. After Disney, we went to Granny's house in Estero. It was warm enough that we could go swimming almost every day! Kenna LOVED the pool!

Delaney had quite a few new experiences while we were in Florida. I'd say her most favorite was trying a strawberry for the first time! She really enjoyed it and wouldn't let me take it away from her mouth!

Another one of Delaney's new experiences was getting her toenails painted! We all had matching polish! It was so wonderful to be able to wear sandals! I can't wait for spring!!!

About a month or so before we went on vacation, I was shopping in Target and found the most adorable matching swimsuits for the girls. Oh my goodness do they look cute in them!!

We only went to the beach once. There was pretty bad red algae so Kenna played in the sand but we really couldn't get in the water. And the algae made it smell pretty bad. But we DID get to sit in the sun, so that made it worth the smell!

Delaney was pretty nervous most of the time we were at Granny's. She was out of her usual environment which made her very clingy to mommy. She really didn't want to be put down or to be held by anyone else if I was in the room. But she did sit with Granny for a while!

One night Tony and I took Kenna to see the greyhound races. We told her all about out dog, Lexy, that we had when she was a baby. Kenna was in awe of the dogs.

Of course we let her pick the dog we would bet on. She usually picked them on what color she liked best (she gets it honestly, because that is how I make up my brackets for basketball) and she won quite a bit!

I can't believe I got this picture. I kept trying to snap the picture when the dogs were coming around behind Tony and Kenna but couldn't quite get it. Kenna picked this dog and we bet for it to show.... sure enough it won!

This is the scoreboard. Kenna won $2.60- which she eventually spent on popcorn!

On Friday before we left, Aunt Nancy came to visit and have lunch. She had presents for all of us. Kenna's present was a little tea set that had been my great grandmothers when she was a little girl. Kenna's face was priceless in this picture

Opening the tea set.......

Amazingly, all the pieces are there! Some are chipped and the paint is coming off, but that just means they were well loved!!!

We were so sad to leave! I wish we could have stayed there another week! I was trying everything I could to get to stay longer!!!!!
